Name UL is a young alternative hip hop artist from Wellington. He has opened for artists like Home Brew, The Pharcyde, @peace, Hilltop Hoods, Action Bronson and others. Name UL also works with artists internationally to give variance to his sound. He has worked with artists from Poland, Russia, Australia, UK, USA as well as New Zealand. Although the rap genre is often thought of as self absorbed and materialistic, UL tries to explore larger ideas in his music. That is why his live shows tend to be very inclusive and energetic.
